		<description>I actually wrote the first beta of this system, which had some great potential.  Unfortunately, it was pitched incorrectly, launched incorrectly (at least twice now, lol) and then (as the article says) promised things it simply could not deliver.

I no longer work for this company, and have nothing to do with this launch, but at one point the project did have some enormous potential to jump onto the mobile-social-networking scene with the major cell phone companies interested. We were what seems like an arms length from venture capital, large houses, and a big successful business, but bad business decisions caused it to fizzle out too fast.

I&#039;m blogging specifically about this craziness along with a buddy of mine who worked alongside me until the whole thing blew up in our faces.  I don&#039;t work in the web industry anymore, for the time being, I&#039;m just blogging it so I can have record of it all.
