As anecdotal as it might be, the results of two separate petition experiments in the United States and Russia were diametrically opposed. In the US, people seem ready to support a fictional plan by President Barack Obama to launch a preemptive nuclear strike on Russia. On the other side, Russians seem opposed to doing the same thing to America.
Not only is it anecdotal, it’s also clearly manipulated. Since we only get to see a handful of reactions from both sides, those who created the experiment obviously showed only the footage that supported their premise. However, it does paint a stark difference in the way that Americans and Russians view war with each other.
