Stonehenge has been considered a mystical monument loaded with enigmas. In recent years, scientists have discovered that the monument is actually a part of a small region of monuments scattered about. They’ve recently made their biggest discovery, literally, less than two miles from the famous set of rocks.

Three feet below the earth, researchers with the Stonehenge Hidden Landscape Project discovered at least 90 stones as large as 15 feet tall and six feet wide. The story behind the discovery is interesting as well; the team had finished their survey and were packed up when they completed one final survey that resulted in the discover.
