For about 30 seconds of her life, Senator Dianne Feinstein sided with Republicans. She did so Sunday when asked about whether or not President Obama had done enough to stop the Islamic State. Her quick reply was, “No.”
The 50 or so special forces personnel that the Obama administration assigned to Syria will not be enough to stop them, nor will the bombing sorties that the military is currently using. Ashton Carter echoed this sentiment as well on Sunday. On Meet the Press, the liberal Senator suggested that we need to work closer with Russia to take out the Islamic State. Depending on who becomes President, she might get her wishes. Of course, by that time, it might be too late.
